Description

*If you choose a .568" bore, you will not be able to have it in an angle bore.*

Our Carry Bevel bushing is machined from solid barstock steel. The flange thickness is .125” which protects the barrel more because it sticks out farther than the spec bushing. It is also better support for our angle bore and more aesthetically pleasing with its beveled edge around the flange.

Available in Stainless Steel and blued Carbon Steel.

Gunsmith Fit is available in all O.D.’s with a .568” I.D. Straight Bore; O.D. of the bushing = Inside diameter of your slide - usually .699” - .705”; I.D. of the bushing = Outside diameter of your barrel - usually .575” - .583”. Please measure these two areas with calipers to find the sizes you need. Please select your options carefully. Please provide exact measurements, as our machinist will allow for clearance. Check our our FAQ Section for instructions on how to accurately take these measurements.

Angle Bore is bored on an angle or a snug fit (measurements must be precise); Straight Bore is bored straight without variation.

Please allow 3 weeks for custom bored bushings. When choosing a spring plug, choose the EGW Long Nose Spring Plug for a flush fit!

Awesome Quality and Value!
I bought a couple of custom bore bushings (angle-bore), one in .701" and another in .703". The bushings are beautiful and the measurements are close to perfect. They are fairly concentric in OD.

The bushing ID is a slight friction fit over my barrels and shows no barrel springing. One bushing dropped into my Colt 1991 with no fitting.

The other required a little metal removal at the front of the lug to allow the bushing to turn. I also used a super-fine sandpaper and some oil to remove any micro-burrs in the bushing ID to allow the barrel to drop freely and the slide to retract smoothly.

The results were just amazing and I feel a great sense of pride being able to minimally fit and install these bushings. Saved a ton of money also not having to send the slide to a gunsmith.

Thanks EGW for this service!
