Savage Round Back F-Class 3" Ext Short Action Picatinny Rail Scope Mount

The bolt pattern on our Savage Short Action mount will work on any Short Action Savage Rifle. This mount is a Round Back, which works with any gun that has a rounded receiver, or an accu-trigger. Guns without an accu-trigger will require our Flat Back mount.

Our F-Class mounts are extended out the front to accommodate prone shooting allowing the scope to be set further forward and to support exceptionally long scopes. If your gun is a single-shot, you will want to purchase our mount without the ejection port. If your gun has an internal or bottom magazine, you will want to purchase our mount with an ejection port.

The middle spread is the distance between the two middle holes, center to center, on your receiver. The middle spread on our short action mount is 3.925". This mount is available in 0 or 20 MOA. Please see our FAQ pages for more information on action lengths and MOA.

Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount, weighing in at 2-3oz on average. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. EGW’s one piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike.

This mount is a Picatinny-style base and compatible with Picatinny or Weaver scope rings.

Installation: EGW recommends 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is available through our website and is sold separately).
