HD Winchester 70 Long Action Picatinny Rail Scope Mount

We offer our Winchester 70 Long (Standard) Action mount in HD. This mount is made specific to the gun. 

This mount is machined from solid 7075 aluminum.

The middle spread is the distance between the two middle holes, center to center, on your receiver. The middle spread on our Winchester 70 Long Action Mount is 3.780". We do offer mounts for the other actions, though not in HD. Please see our separate listings for these mounts.

EGW set out on a mission to ask you, the customer, what the ideal scope mount would look like. We then incorporated these characteristics into the design of our Heavy Duty (HD) scope mount line.

This HD one-piece scope mounts is precision machined from solid 7075 T6 (max hardness) aircraft grade aluminum.

Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The cross slots are also machined the full width of the mount and gauged to MIL-STD 1913 specs maintaining tolerances of +/-.002".

EGW’s Heavy Duty (HD) mounts are lower in height than our tactical rails, which reduces weight and gives the shooter a better cheek weld.

After machining; the mounts are tumbled and sand blasted. The aluminum mounts are Type III hard coat anodized for long lasting durability. The steel rails are Mil Spec parkerized for a durable rust resistant finish.
