What's the best way to mount a scope to a Tikka T1x?

The Tikka T1x rimfire rifle is designed to be versatile and handle a variety of shooting tasks. Its barrel is uniquely designed with a cross-over profile, offering the benefits and stability of a heavier barrel without noticeably increasing the overall weight of the rifle. It's a high-quality and well-crafted rimfire rifle that performs perfectly at the range and in rough terrain.

Looking to easily mount a scope to your Tikka T1x? Our 0 MOA picatinny scope mount is a great option and exactly what you need for your Tikka T1x bolt action rifle. No need to use dovetail rings that are difficult to mount and dismount or use across platforms.

This Tikka T1x picatinny rail scope mount allows you to easily mount your scope using picatinny or weaver rings. If you are already using a picatinny rail on your centerfire rifle, this gives you the ability to easily swap your scope between hosts. Our Tikka T1x rail mounts are proudly made in the U.S.A. and include all of the necessary mounting hardware.

    This mount fits:

    • Tikka T1x MTR
    • Tikka T1x UPR
    • All Tikka T1x Models

We recommend measuring the hole spacing in your receiver to confirm it matches with the dimensions we have published.

Why is the EGW scope mount the best for my Tikka T1x?

Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. Our one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike.

We machine these in our shop using one of our machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type II anodized for long lasting durability.

Should I use loctite when installing my picatinny scope mount?

We always recommend a drip of blue loctite or thread locker when installing your scope mounts (loctite is available through our website and is sold separately).

Do I need to torque my hardware when installing my picatinny scope mount?

We always recommend torquing the mounting hardware to 20 in/lbs unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer of the firearm.

Watch our scope mount installation video here.

If you have any other questions, please send our customer service an email or give us a call, we are here to help you find the correct mounting solution for your application.

    We recommend:

    0 MOA - if shooting 0-150 yards

    20 MOA - if shooting 150-300 yards

The entire mount and accessories (from the mounting screws and wrench down to the packaging) are made in the USA.
