Installation & Overview

(Watch our guide on how to properly torque and install your EGW rail).

Push your classic .22LR to its limits. This 20 MOA Picatinny Rail is designed for older Savage Mark II rifles with the 1-3/8" ejection port. The built-in 20 MOA cant angles your scope downward, giving you 20 extra minutes of angle of upward elevation travel. This is essential for rimfire competitions like NRL22, where you need to dial for targets out to 200 yards or more without running out of scope adjustment.

Machined from domestic 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum, this rail provides a rigid, one-piece platform that bridges the receiver, offering far more stability than traditional two-piece bases. The cross slots allow for flexible ring positioning, ensuring you can get the perfect eye relief even with larger tactical scopes.

Savage Mark II FAQ

How do I measure my ejection port?

Simply measure the length of the opening on the side of the receiver where the shell ejects. If it is roughly 1.375" (1-3/8"), this is the correct mount. If it is larger, around 1.625" (1-5/8"), you need our newer Savage 93/Mark II mount.

Why use 20 MOA on a .22LR?

.22LR bullets drop significantly at distance (often 40+ inches at 200 yards). A 20 MOA base gives you the extra elevation adjustment needed to compensate for this drop without bottoming out your scope's internal travel.

Will this fit the Savage 93?

No. Most Savage 93 (.22 Mag / .17 HMR) rifles use the larger 1-5/8" ejection port. Please check our Savage 93/Mark II (1-5/8") rail.
