This tool is used to cut the shoulder from the rear of the spring plug tunnel on certain 1911s.

If you have a Colt, Para, or older 1911 and you are looking to install a reverse plug in place of the spring plug, you should use this tool.

Do you need to install a reverse plug in a 1911 slide that has a shoulder at the rear of the spring plug tunnel? This tool allows you to remove that shoulder so you don't have to use a dremel. Our slide shoulder cutter is .500" in diameter. We recommend using one of our reverse plug cutters with this tool to easily modify your slide for a reverse plug.
