The EGW red dot sight mount adapter plate for Walther Q5 Match Optics Ready pistols installs directly into the factory optics cut, allowing you to mount optics using the Docter / Vortex / Burris FastFire footprint.
Simply remove the factory optics plate and replace it with the EGW mount to install optics like the Vortex Venom (Open Emitter), Vortex Viper, Burris FastFire, Viridian RFX25, and other compatible red dots.
Machined from 7075 aluminum and finished in matte black hardcoat anodizing, this plate provides a lightweight, rugged, and low-profile optic mounting solution for competition, range, or defensive use.

Mounting Hardware Included

- Factory Walther slide screws are reused to fasten the mount to the slide
Installation Notes
- Remove the factory optics cover plate
- Install the EGW plate into the factory slide cut
- Reuse the factory Walther slide screws to fasten the EGW plate to the slide
- Factory slide screws are M3 x 6
- Walther recommends torquing plate screws to 2Nm / 17.7 in/lbs
- Place the optic onto the EGW plate
- Apply blue Loctite to the optic mounting screws
- Torque optic mounting screws to 15 in/lbs
