Our Savage bases will work with any short or long action round back Savage rifle with a ejection port. The round back on this mount will accommodate rounded receivers, and guns that have an accu-trigger. Savages without an accu-trigger will require our flat back mount (listed separately).
The middle spread is the distance between the two middle holes, center to center, on your receiver. The middle spread on our short action mount is 3.925". The middle spread on our long action mount is 4.625".

Our Long Action Round Back 0 MOA base is recommended by Savage for use with their 220 Slug gun. Savage will instruct you to order using our old part number #2120. The newly assigned part number for this item is #41100. Please order part number #41100 if you are purchasing a mount for the Savage 220 Slug gun.
Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount, weighing in at 2-3oz on average. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. This mount is a Picatinny-style base and compatible with Picatinny or Weaver scope rings.
Installation: EGW recommends 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is available through our website and is sold separately).
